Yellow ribbons tied around trees, and red, white and blue stickers on the backs of our cars saying “Support our troops” are things that make us feel good, but do nothing for the men and women actually in uniform. So please consider the following:

THE NUMBER ONE REQUEST at the various hospitals treating our Iraq wounded is for Phone Cards!

The government doesn’t pay long distance phone charges and these wounded servicemen are rationing their calls home..

Many will be there throughout the holidays, in many cases far from their homes and families.

The Board of Directors has approved a donation of Phone Cards to various hospitals. This is where Max Pate and Wayne Erven come in. They will collect the money, purchase the cards, and get them to the people in the hospitals. They need an endless supply of these phone cards. Any amount, even $5.00 is greatly appreciated. We are able to purchase 2 hour cards for about 3 cents a minute.
