This history book, revised and published in 2004, is still available from Turner Publishing. Call 270/443-0121 for information. If you are the kin of a former Hancock sailor, and would like to have some nice documentation of the history of the ship, this book would fill the bill. Its coverage of the World War II period is especially good.
